Self Tapping Screws, sometimes called PK screws are screws that can be driven into small pilot holes in materials cutting and creating their own thread. These screws are commonly used in plastics, and sheet metal. Pilot holes can vary depending on material hardness on thickness. These screws are screwed into place using a Pozi (Cross Head) Screwdriver or impact driver. This screw is a Pan Head meaning the screw head will sit on top of a surface and can be used with a washer to help spread the load. These Screws are measured from under the head and are always fully threaded!
